Aidan O'Farrell

It is with a heavy heart we share the news that Aidan O'Farrell, son of Fourthwall founder Frank O'Farrell, has passed away. Aidan was the inspiration behind Fourthwall as together we looked for ways to help him, and kids like him, find purpose, success and hope. Fourthwall was a vessel for Aidan's love and compassion. We were his stewards. We miss you Aidan. We love you. Click on the arrow below to listen to one of Aidan's most popular songs.

Not only was Aidan the inspiration behind Fourthwall he was also a talented artist in his own right. A singer songwriter, pianist, fine artist, comedian, philosopher and so talented at so many things. Click on the YouTube icon below for a video of one of Aidan’s most popular songs.

Summer Film Camp

Fourthwall is teaming up with Cincinnati Academy for Performing Arts (CAPA) again is '24 to provide a 2-week summer film camp experience to area youth. The camp will be held at Indian Hill High School on July 29th - August 9th.

Time: 9 am – 3 pm, M-F
Location: Indian Hill High School 6865 Drake Rd. Cincinnati OH 45243

Participating students will be coached and mentored through the filmmaking process including;

Storytelling
Scriptwriting
Production Planning
Location Scouting
Camera Operation
Audio Production
Principal Photography
Editing and Finishing

Amplifying Youth Voice

Film Series

Mental Health is an urgent problem, and in Greater Cincinnati, leaders from the medical, social services, education, and philanthropic communities are collaborating to work on the issue. Parents, medical providers, care givers, mental health professionals, and youths themselves will be part of the solution. The Amplifying Youth Voices series, in collaboration with Soapbox Cincinnati, is made possible with support from Interact for Health. Fourthwall is proud to be part of this project and looking forward to becoming part of the solution.

This “Junior Journalist” student crew, peer-to-peer film series will include interviews with local organizations on their current youth mental health initiatives.

Aiken ESL 8:30

Produced during the 2022 spring semester, this collaboration with Film and Media Studies students at the University of Cincinnati, illustrates some of the extraordinary resources available to ESL and refugee students at Aiken. The program is run by Aaron Parker and is a hidden gem at Cincinnati Public Schools.

Democracy & Me 3:30

Democracy & Me is a podcast offered by Cincinnati Public Radio to area youth. Students learn about the importance of civics, voting and other social issues. In this video they visit the radio station on their first day of their internship.

When The Smoke Clears 5:30

Commissioned by St. Elizabeth Medical Center and administered by Artswave, Fourthwall was asked to facilitate the production of an anti vaping PSA, to be written and produced by high schoolers and targeted to middle schools. The final film is a 3-part vignette style, illustrating the damage this risky habit can cause.
